What is the game about?

The game is a sequel to Dracula: The Last Sanctuary Dracula: Resurrection, however, the plot is unconnected to either game. Path of the Dragon is set in 1920 and follows the story of Father Arno Moriani of the Sacred Congregation of Rites. He is dispatched to the Transylvanian town of Vladoviste in the diocese of Alba Iulia to examine the potential sanctification of a recently dead doctor, Martha Calugarul. Meanwhile, Moriani soon discovers that Calugarul felt herself to be in a struggle with a vampire, potentially Dracula himself, and, while first suspicious, he gradually starts to feel there may be some truth to the narrative.

Gameplay

To move the player about and modify the game world, the game employs simple point-and-click navigation. The user is allowed to view about 360 degrees on each screen. As the players move the cursor across the screen, it can transform into various styles depending on the milieu: neutral cursor, an arrow, a mouthpiece, an eye, a magnifying glass, and so on.  When the gamer clicks on someone with whom they want to communicate, a selection of possible subjects for conversation appears on the screen. When a player collects some item, it is immediately placed in an auto-holder instead of the main stock and thereafter must be manually transferred to the inventory window. This lets the player arrange the inventory whichever way they see fit. Players may also “flag” papers to associate them with specific clues, allowing them to review all documents linked to a single clue without for them to sift through other unrelated documents. There is also a “random page” option that opens the text at some random paragraph. When used at specific stages of the game, this option might provide hints to the player on how to continue.
