What is Puzzle Agent about?
Tether is the protagonist in this game. Strange series of events start to occur in Scoggins and that challenges every bit of tether’s expertise and skills and surprises his wits too! There are puzzles, mazes, and riddles at every step. Tether soon realizes that these along with the secret societies and weird sounds coming from the forest are somehow related to the core mystery. Developed by mixing unique narrative and sensibilities made by the popular artist Graham Annable, Puzzle Agent delivers an exclusive Telltale storytelling style and thorough gaming experience. Gameplay
The gameplay is rather a liner. Players do not have an inventory but can talk through dialogue trees with other players in the game. Some choices or items need to be solved. In some cases, you have to solve a puzzle to get a result and move forward and in some cases, solving puzzles is of no consequence. There are various kinds of puzzles to be solved starting from mathematics to logic puzzles and jigsaw ones. Each of these puzzles comes with a basic short description of the purpose of the puzzle, being there. Also, there are some rules and regulations that the player has to follow while solving the puzzle. In case the player is unable to solve, he can ask for three hints for each puzzle. However, these hints don’t come for free. It costs a piece of chewing gum. Players, therefore, have to collect pieces of gums they find lying here and there. Once you solve the puzzles, your result isn’t automatically approved. The result has to be sent to the HQ where the answer is either approved or rejected. If the puzzle is solved correctly, the player gets a score and moves ahead in the game.
