What is the game about?
The narrative of the game is somewhat given in the name itself. You slash your way with a melee as well as some gun-like magic wands through the game to collect loot along the way inside dungeons. The game claims to be a first-person rogue-lite and mainly focuses on combat and looting as its primary gameplay criteria. Gameplay
Unlike many other rogue-lite’s and dungeon crawlers, Slasher’s keep has successfully managed to combine these two genres immaculately. The game takes place in the remote wild forest called Ool. According to the narrative, the player was previously imprisoned and was left to fester in a ghastly structure named “slasher’s keep”. The player wakes up, with no knowledge of themselves, nameless and stripped to their last clothing. In the oncoming hours of gameplay, the player will have to fight through 10 floors to escape the prison he woke up in. The game allows the player to pick different characters; however, the enemies and bosses stay the same. The only real change that occurs in the game is the story texts that happen to pop up in between floors.

The game includes a drag and drop based crafting system and the graphics are majorly made up of sprites drawn by hand and characters that are cel-shaded Players need to find a smithy to successfully craft a weapon. A smithy is found on dungeon floor 3 and then on every second level after that, alternating with the shop The dynamic color contrast makes the game look as attractive as a 3D game can get and there is a certainty that once you play it, you won’t be disappointed.
